# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It tastes exactly like biting into a slice of red velvet cake without any baking required
  • The cream cheese creates an unbelievably silky texture you cannot get from ordinary cream
  • Your friends will think you spent hours developing a signature cocktail masterpiece
02 -
  • Room temperature cream cheese incorporates so much better than cold straight from the fridge
  • You must shake longer than you think you need to or the cream cheese will leave tiny unpleasant lumps
  • The red color looks darker in the shaker than it does in the glass so account for that when adding food coloring
03 -
  • Chill your glasses in the freezer for at least 15 minutes before rimming to help the garnish stick better
  • If the drink separates after sitting just give it another quick shake with fresh ice and it will come right back together
