03 - 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
04 - 2 tsp lemon zest
05 - 3 garlic cloves, minced
06 - 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped

08 - 1/2 tsp salt
09 - 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper

# How to Make It:

01 - In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
02 - Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for 15–30 minutes to marinate.
03 - Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 15 minutes to prevent burning.
04 - Thread marinated shrimp onto skewers, about 4–5 shrimp per skewer.
05 - Grill shrimp skewers for 2–3 minutes per side, or until shrimp are opaque and lightly charred. Do not overcook.
06 - Remove from grill and transfer to a serving platter. Garnish with lemon wedges and additional parsley if desired. Serve immediately.

# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It comes together in less than thirty minutes but tastes like a restaurant dish.
  • The marinade keeps the shrimp incredibly juicy while packing a huge punch of flavor.
02 -
  • Shrimp turn rubbery the second they are overcooked so keep a close eye on the color change.
  • Pat the shrimp dry before tossing them in the marinade to help the sauce stick better.
03 -
  • Double skewering the shrimp makes them much easier to flip without spinning around on the stick.
  • Let the marinated shrimp sit at room temperature for ten minutes before grilling for more even cooking.
